I recently had my car into your centre in Mitcham to replace 2 tyres (tyres bought through black circle). Barry was the person that I dealt with, he was informative helpful and polite. 10 out of 10.

Better customer service than I have received in most 5 star hotels and restaurants.

The vehicle needed a re-test on it's MOT which is why it wasn't ready quite as quickly as I'd originally hoped. Ewan explained why and managed to squeeze my car in so I did get it back the same day. As always I found them friendly and honest, will definitely use again and I make a point of recommending F1 to friends & family.

I have used f1 Autocentre in Maidstone for the last 3 years. The staff are efficient friendly and they deliver great value for money I wouldn't go anwhere else these are guys I trust which as a woman means alot I have been to other garages before and been ripped off. Always impressed with the service given at your lenton branch when i take my car for a MOT or tyers they are always very helpful and give me a idea of how much the work will cost before doing the work. Also ideal location as i drop my car off and and collect later since i work only 15 minutes away on the industrial estate.

I only recently discovered Formula One Garage when I realised my MOT was overdue!

I rang them up in a panic only because they were near to my place of work and it would be more convenient.
They sorted me out on the spot, there and then! I was so impressed with the quick, professional and courteous service.

Unfortunately, some garages can still be intimidating places for a woman to go in on her own, even if she knows how to do an oil drain, check water and use a dipstick!

All staff we very helpful assisting me with doors into reception with my baby in her pram; and they conducted a free wheel alignment check on my back wheels and informed me that there was some uneven wear to the back tyres as the wheels were indeed out of alignment, and for a reasonable cost they were able to adjust this for me. There was no hard sale just pleasant & courteous information and assistance. Thank you.

I visited the same F1 centre a few months ago as my tyres needed replacing and I was impressed then with how the staff spent time trying to find me the most cost-effective solution (rather than trying to strong arm me into paying as much as possible, which has happened at other chains), they were also especially friendly to my children as we waited. For that reason, I chose to return for my full service and for the first time ever, was not 'upsold' anything I didn't need. It was also cheaper than competitors. Very impressed.

Took my car here for it's MOT, and to get a free winter check. Never been to Formula One before, but heard nothing but good reviews, with a few saying they were pricey. Having seen their MOT as cheap as anywhere else, as well as their Price Promise, I couldn't see how people came to that conclusion. MOT was completed when expected, though unfortunately didn't pass. They offered me the best advice on it, and found prices for everything that it failed on for us. Sadly, the quote was more than the value of the car, as expected, so the car will be moving on soon. Will use again and recommend though.

I went to Formula 1 for the first time last year to seek advice after my car was serviced and MOT by A large dealership company who has always serviced and MOT my car I was really worried about the information I recieved from them about suggested work. Your staff were excellent they checked my car and put my mind at rest and were very informative and helpful. I returned to Formula a few monthslater to have the two front tyres fitted and tracking done. I received an excellent service. I returned again on 3rd January 2012 to have my car serviced and MOT. The car passed the MOT and I was advised of work that would be required over the next few months. I was happy for the staff to sort the work on the same day. I again recieved an excellent service and the advice and information were second to none. I will continue to use and recommend F1 to other as a very please customer Thank you Kind regards Wendy

I would just like you to know of the experience my girlfriend and I had with your Wigston branch in Leicester. I spoke with the branch via phone this morning asking for a quote for my girfriends Peugeot 206CC to have a replacement rear end silencer. The staff member I spoke to was very pleasant and although I had a better quote, he agreed to improve on the quote. Because of the manner in which he handled the call, I chose not to continue searching for a better price and ordered the parts for him. When the part arrived I spoke with him again and he told me that he would be able to get the car in straight away. My girlfriend took her car to the branch and was treated courteously and the parts were fitted quickly (despite the garage being extremely busy when she arrived) and everything was already set up on the computer with the better price so all she had to do was pay for the work. She was so pleased with the way everything was dealt with, she has decided to change our regular garage for all MOT/servicing and general work her car may need. I will be changing to use this garage for all the work on my own car also.

Many thanks for the fantastic service experience this branch offered, I will indeed recommend your branch to all my friends/colleagues. I hope the staff who dealt with me on the phone, and my girlfriend on site should be given the accolade they deserve, from your company.

I experienced excellent service from the manager and team at Southend. I had booked on the internet to have new tyres fitted to my son's car and asked for the brakes to be checked whilst the wheels were off the car. The manager showed me that the front discs were badly corroded and within 15 minutes he had arranged for a new set of front discs to be delivered to site. Within an hour and a half or arriving at Formula 1 Southend, I had 4 new tyres fitted, new front discs and brake pads and the steering geomentry checked and realligned. Overall the experience I had from Formula 1 Southend was excellent. Well done Formula 1 Southend, a very satisfied customer!

The staff are very knowledgable and more then happy to answer questions and talk with you even if they are on a break. Hi I'm currently sitting in the waiting room of the F1 Autocentre branch in Hemel Hempstead and would like to say this is the second time I have used this garage and I'm absolutely 100% happy with the service I have received today, along with the last visit. The online Price Promise was received very quickly and made the tyre £5 cheaper than anywhere else (£72 F1 priced Goodyear GT3 tyre matched to £64 National price and I paid £59). The fitter took my car within a couple of minutes and I was on my way back to work within about 15 minutes of arriving. Very pleased. Polite and friendly counter staff. Would use again and recommend.

As a lady driver I have spent a long time (23 years of driving) to find a garage I can trust (unfortunately I have not always had good experiences of the motor trade) and last year I went online after being let down once again, and came across Formula One garages and after my first experience and now second I would not go anywhere else. After receiving poor service over the phone with Kwik Fit when trying to book my car in for new rear brakes, I remembered the great service I received from you for a new tyre a few months back. So I called the Long Eaton centre and spoke with Craig. From the start he was very helpful and friendly. Kwik Fit could not quote me nor give a convenient time. However Craig quoted me and booked me in at a good time in minutes (even with a dodgy internet connection)

I felt compelled to contact you to let you know how Formula One Long Eaton stamps out the stereotype of poor service, high prices and none efficiency.

I have promptly cancelled my appointment with Kwik Fit and look forward to the good service I have experienced from Long Eaton's Centre tomorrow as that is when I am booked in.

I know people will use this care line for complaints, but I just wanted to let you know how pleased and impressed I was with your team at Peterborough.

I rang this morning to book in my C-Max for a battery and brake check, half expecting there to be a long wait to get it looked at. I was pleasantly surprised as the cheery Tom, on the phone said to bring the car in as soon as I was ready, to get it looked at today.

After I arrived at the centre, the car was quickly assessed and I was told that the battery was in need of replacement, but the brake pads still had some wear on them and so were not urgent to be changed. I was spoken to and dealt with in a very professional manner, and despite not being totally knowledgeable about mechanics, was never talked down to or thought I was being mis lead.

I often take my car to a local mechanic I am friendly with at another garage, but after the good service I was given at your Peterborough branch, I will certainly use Formula One again, in fact we spoke about bringing in my wife's car to be looked at, as it has a few niggling problems.

I have been using F1 Autocentre in Peterborough for many years now and no longer even bother getting tyre, exhaust or brake quotes from any other franchise. The staff at this branch have always been friendly and helpful, unless things change dramatically, I will not be taking my business elsewhere. Unfortunately, my son did not follow my advice and went to one of your competitors. His car now appears to have a twisted chassis and required the sump cover to be replaced after it was overtightened and cracked (their explanation!!).

Before i start,this is not a complaint,it's quite the opposite. This is the first time for me to use your F1 tyre service and that was only based on the price of my tyres being cheaper than other tyre centres in the area with you tyre price match and extra £5 per tyre off.....F1AUTOCENTRE were the only tyre centre to who were willing to price match other competitors not only drive in dealers but also online !! This is fantastic and i got a really good price. My tyres were fitted at your Swindon tyre centre and when i got there i thought it was just another Kwik-Fit but to my surprise it was not. There was no long queues to been seen and was dealt with immediately. within 5 mins my car was on ramp and not out side for 2 hours. nice clean waiting room with a tv,leather seats and big window so you can see your cars progress. It is a really nice tyre centre, infact the best in Swindon. The only one thing that let it down was that there is no tea or coffee available.I was told there was a cafe next door inside another shop. However a free cup of Joe would have made my day.. something so small but i think is nice to be available especially when you just paid out £500 on 4 new tyres. If you can keep this up you will have so many loyal customers, i will certainly be recommending you. I would like to say thanks and for you to pass this gratitude on to the Swindon store as well. Will see you next time i need another set of tyres .

I just want to pass on my thanks and appreciation for the outstanding customer service I have just received from Ryan and Chris at the Aylesbury branch. I recently had the misfortune of a flat tyre, caused by a split alloy wheel rim.

From the start of the replacement process through to the successful resolution, both Chris and Ryan were excellent - they were exceptionally helpful, accommodating and friendly.

It is rare that I feel compelled to comment on customer service, but the level of care and attention I received was exemplary. I was already using you guys for the competitively priced tyres - but this excellent experience has only reinforced my inclination to become a loyal customer.

My second visit was to have the front tyres on my Porsche replaced and the front tracking adjusted.The service was as previous and the price of the tyres was competitive. My intro to F1 Autocentres was via an evening invitation to my local Porsche dealership where Michelin Tyres were also promoted. I found the service very good. I liked the fact that I could order online and also the special offer on the service and MOT was very welcome. Third time I have used the Cheltenham centre and happy to use again. Constructive comment Earlier this year my daughter was down from Manchester for the weekend and got a puncture which needed to be changed quickly as her spare wheel is only a space saver. Looked on F1 website, found a tyre and phoned Cheltenham centre to see if they had it stock and could sell it at your internet price. Answer was yes they had one, but no they were not able to sell it at internet prices. F1 lost a sale to Kwik Fit. Therefore F1 is good if customers have time but potentially loose out on short term requirements?

I am one of the first to complain when things go wrong, conversely, when a Company and more importantly its Members of Staff show exemplary customer service I feel compelled to bring it to the attention of the person in charge.

Having recently sold up and moved from Northumberland to Staffordshire I had to obtain tyres for my wifes Ford Ka after a failed MOT at a garage in our new home town of Cheadle.

While my wife was having a check up at the hospital in Newcastle I visited a number of your competitors prior to your branch on Liverpool Road.

Neil Spafford assessed the existing tyres, advised me what I needed and enquired about the failed MOT. After examining the failure report which he felt was inaccurate on a number of points, he asked the lady, (Linda), who carries out the Mots, to give her expert opinion. She agreed with him.

They booked my car in, replaced the tyres where needed, welded minor rust spots, retested it, undersealed it effectively and gave me the level of service and customer care which I thought no longer existed.

Should I or anyone I know be needing an annual service or any motoring requirements in the future, your Mr. Spafford will be the first to be contacted as both he and Linda did a remarkable job in a most professional and couteous manner.

Went for MOT, service was reasonably quick and I felt watching the tester that the car was being given a good test. Although the car failed on two minor points (rectified straight away) everything was explained. Impressed that the tester could see that there was a minor buckle on one of the wheels (which I know about). All in all still pleased to use Formula 1.

I booked online and was told online to turn up at 0830. There was no time specified on my booking confirmation but upon arrival I was told that they could not start work on my car until much later. It would be helpful if the online booking confirmation could show the time the vehicle is expected.

The staff at Formula one were increidbly helpful, I first visited the Bedford Centre to get my break pads done - the service received was excellent and the price was spot on. The staff there also helped me to find the cheapest centre of tyres too as I was in need of 4 and so I booked straight back in to get those done the next week. I would recommend them to anyone!

The staff were very helpful. When I arrived I did not relaise the online prices were not actually the same in the actual centres - which I think should be strongly pointed out on your website. They did suggest I went home and ordered online and come back which I did to get the brilliant rate. However, to order online I had to say I would have them fitted days later and was going on holiday. Once agin your staff said to come back and they would be fitted there and then as they were in stock. However when I came back from holiday I had two answerphone message saying my tyres were ready for fitting ??? Clearly they had forgot to clear off the fitting / date flag from my invoice etc.

"Just a quick email to comment on my visit to your depot in Leek Road, Hanley, Stoke on Trent. I visited this depot today 12th July to request a tyre inspection ahead of my cars first mot test next Monday, my n/s/f tyre needed replacing. Your staff member Matt stated that my tyre was not in stock due to a non standard wheel size, but he said that he could obtain it from another depot within 1 hour, I left the depot and returned about 50 minutes later and was delighted to see that my tyre had arrived. Matt immediately arranged for the tyre to be fitted along with wheel balancing and alignment.

I feel that is worth complimenting your staff on this excellent customer service once again. Matt was polite and extremely helpful.

The general public are quick enough to criticise but reluctant to praise companies on their excellent service.

So, well done, and I will most certainly use this branch in future, and recommend to my friends and colleagues."

I put my car in for a major service and MOT. The car was ready at the end of the day as planned. The engineers had some advisory points that they contacted me by phone to discuss. The car was then kept over night and resulted in another £400 of parts and labour. i was not pressured into having this work done but advised. I have only just brought the car home. All appears good and i am satisfied with the work and advise.

"I am writing to let you know how pleased I am with Formula One in Luton, Bedfordshire. I know how people are so quick to complain although not many people will congratulate on the good service.

I have been going to Luton F1 autocentre for around 3 years now and have never had a bad experience. The assistant manager Ade is so friendly and honest and is a credit to your company, as is Shaun. When we have been in before and asked advice on what needs doing on our car, the guys have always shown us what the problem is and informed us of what will be done before they do it, (as some garages I have been to do the work and then charge me after without asking). Everybody is always so helpful and I have never really had to wait for my car to be fixed, when I have driven it down they are able to see it straight away.

We have never taken our car anywhere else since we have been to you, and do not intend to in the near future.

As we have said, we wanted to let you know ho pleased we are with your service and just basically wanted to say 'keep up the good work'."

The brake fluid was replaced but air was still present in the system after I collected the car. I have returned the car and had the syst bled again but this did not remove all the air as the problem still exists. Manager has agreed that I can drop car I'm tomorrow for a complete system bleed so as long as this works, I will be happy with the outcome. Previous visits to F1 have provided good customer service and value for money.

Formula One were recommended to me by a friend who has been a customer for several years. This is the 2nd time I have used them and when an additional unscheduled matter cropped up ie worn tailgate gas struts they were very helpful in getting the parts and fitting them for me within the hour. I had expexted to be told to come back the next day so this was a pleasant surprise. At all stages I was shown any defects as well as the worn parts. Top marks!

I would like to express my gratitude to the level of service I received from one of your Branches. This afternoon 3rd May 2011 I went to your Canterbury Branch and had two new tyresfitted, I had also asked for an oil change. After the tyres had beenfitted the Manager (Tom) approached me. He then went on to explain to methat the type of oil filter fitted to my vehicle required an insert typefilter. He explained in his experience this type of filter housing more often than not seizes with corrosion and could present a problem.Rather than taking the risk at such a late hour in the day 16:45 andknowing the replacement part could only be obtained from a main dealerhe advised me that he was not going to take the risk with removing thepart and thus if it broke leaving me without a vehicle for a longperiod. He gave me great advice and I have booked the vehicle in foranother time. I would also like to comment on the way in which he dealtwith another customer. He was really calm and professional. Once again thank you.

Yes overall good tho my quote for tyres & alligment which were required were not cheapest so I did go elsewhere saving £60. Which is a shame would have happliy had it all done at F1 otherwise. Will still go back as I believe the staff to be knowledgeable & honest at to works required.

I was pleased with the service. I always worry about MOTs and garages, I know very little about cars and sometimes feel that women are taken advantage of. I did not feel this here. Staff were friendly and my car felt better after the service. I paid a fortune with another gararge when I last needed an MOT for jobs they said needed doing and the car did not drive well after. So I was pleased with the way my car performed and feel that they have done a good job.

Very competitive price - beat local competitors that I have used in the past. Having booked the earliest appointment available on line (approx. 5 days wait) I called at the centre the following day and left the wheel for fitting. The staff cheerfully changed wheels over for me and promised to try to expedite the order. Less than 5 hours later I was contacted to say that the tyre had been fitted to the wheel. Very pleased with the service and will now consider F1 for MOT and service work on the family cars

I am not sure if I have chosen the correct option of Stevenage site - I used the Boulton Road Fomula One in Stevenage. I have to say I am very impressed that I was told my car had passed it's mot and although it had a few advisories, I was not 'pressured' into having any of these items done by Formula One. I in fact asked if it may be a good idea for me to have the brakes done as they had come up on advisory that they were a little corroded. I was told that really there was no need whereas I know for a fact that, for example, Kwik Fit would have said they really needed to be done to gain more business. In my opinion this particular branch of Formula One is exceptional because this is the second time I have used the branch and NEVER have been told I needed something doing that didn't really need doing - I have always questioned other companies and OFTEN found that additional work stated as being necessary, is not necessary. So, all I can say is a big THANK YOU and I will continue to use this Formula One site. kIND REGARDS

I found my first visit to Formula one very efficient and the attendant was very helpful despite there being an issue with the computer as he couldn't open it up. I left my car with them whilst I went to do some shopping and came back, to pick up the car, when I received the call to say it was ready. On my return I found out that I didn't get the Fuel Saver service I had paid for and they'd just carried out the MOT. The attendant offered to fit in the service then and there but unfortunately I had to be somewhere that afternoon. I will have to go back for the fuelsaver service though. I appreciate that this incident was unfortunate but I would certainly use Formula One again.

I contacted the Aylesbury Branch this morning for a Brake Disc and Pad change quote for my Renault Scenic (2001).

I am moving into the area in a few weeks time and wanted to compare the prices to those here in the north of Scotland, and to be honest I was dreading the outcome.

I spoke to 'Ryan' and he was very quick, very professional with his quote and answers to my questions. Whilst I may not need to do the repairs right now, I know exactly where to go and who to see when I move into the area. The quote by the way was roughly the same price as quoted up here. There is no drop box for keys which is frustrating as I ended up giving them to a very helpful man who worked in the Head Office section - a trust issue as I didn't really have a clue who he was and a simple secure box for dropping off keys between 8 - 8.30 - a proviso for cutomers being that cars must not be dropped off the night before, would have been great. The online booking was great though the pre-payment seemed to have been more difficult in signing out the MOT as it took 3 people to work out how to do it. Also my MOT was booked for 8.30 but no-one called to advise if it had passed, we called to check at 11. The above just advisory all in all very happy with the ease of booking,price and service.

I often use Formula One. It is the only place I go to for replacement parts, MOTs etc. I have only ever used the Southend and Enfield branches. The guys (and girls) are helpful, friendly and very good at what they do. The prices are excellent and cannot be beaten to my knowledge. Not that I would bother to shop around because I always know that I will get a great price and great service with Formula 1. My MOT was yesterday, Thursday 5th May, and there was a fair bit of work to be done. Unfortunately there was a slight issue with the fitting of a new exhaust back-box and I had to go back today to have it tweaked. But the lads were ready and waiting and I was back out in 10 minutes - and all was sorted! Well done - again! Karl Kessler

"I today visited your Crawley centre for a quote on repairs to a sticking brake calliper which was due to be covered under an AA insurance plan.

Having spoken with one of your employees named Omar previously to arrange the appointment, he took care of my request when I arrived at the centre.

He organised a thorough check of my vehicle for the specific problem and also highlighted a couple of other areas which may require attention in the near future.

He then contacted the AA on my behalf for authorisation and, when this was declined (I have now terminated my association with the AA due to their lack of customer commitment), Omar still had the good grace to contact me with the news.

Due to the lack of funding, I had to postpone the repairs but Omar continued dealing with my requirements in a thoroughly professional and attentive manner; preparing me competitive quotes for the works required and talking me through the detail.

I would like to highly commend Omar for his "can-do" attitude and his superb customer service and put him forward for some kind of recognition.

He is a credit to your company and has persuaded me to return for the work when funds permit along with recommending your facility to my friends and colleagues."

It was my first visit to F1 Auto centre but it will certainly not be my last. The service was excellent, staff very professional and courteous. I have found in the past when I have visited garages and being a female that I have been treated like I know nothing about cars but not so here. The staff treated me like an equal and with respect. "Quick email to say what excellent service I received recently at your Long Eaton Centre.

I initially called the centre as I had a flat tyre and as not local to the area, was given directions on how to find my way to there. Once there, the excellent level of service continued as Craig built up immediate rapport with myself and promptly started work on my car.

The reason why I had a flat tyre were explained as it was not a simple puncture and the rim of the alloy had been banged. My options were explained fully and all costs were quoted clearly.

I decided to opt for a new tyre as there was not many miles left in the one that was now off the alloy. Craig also pointed out to me that my alloy was buckled and that due to the unusual tyre size, I could consider changing my alloy wheels for more standard ones and saving money each time that I replace my tyre.

Overall I cannot rate the service that Craig provided highly enough."

After phoning to book an MOT test and asking about your price promise of not being beaten on price as another local tyre and exhaust centre were offering MOT test for £5 cheaper.Was advised to book on line at cost saving price of £27.42.I am now advising friends and family of this great value for money deal.

Formula 1 are number 1. After days of phone calls and research on the internet,the best deal was with you. I purchased my tyres online. Quick, easy and the best price anywhere. It was also great to see the style of tread pattern before committing to buy. I selected my nearest depot and appointment time/date. It could not have been easier. "Having had a recent need to visit your Aylesbury Centre; I thought I would express my sincere gratitude through you relating to my visit.

I cannot express how accommodating and helpful Keith, Paul and the rest of your team where.

I had a problem with my wife's car exhaust and they spent time looking at the problem and advising me on my options. The problem related to a recently fitted catalytic converter and an issue with regard to the bracket / fittings used. Please note, this was not fitted by your team.

The problem was quickly resolved with little cost to myself but overall I really felt that they were putting the customer (me) first. More importantly, they spent time considering all options with the single aim being to fix the car.

It is very refreshing in these difficult times where some businesses only seem interested in how much money they can make from someone else's problem.

Please pass on my thanks to everyone at F1 (Aylesbury).

Having been a customer before, I have no hesitation in visiting again and would certainly recommend my friends and family there.
