big thank you to gerald macandrew and his team at black heath branch ordered my tyres online and took advantage on the wheel alighment offer online f1 acs also matched the price of a competitor . Arrived at 8.30 am and car was done by 9.15.All staff where polite and very helpful and prepared to answer any queries i had indepth . think the guys there deserve a more modern building if anything has the current location is a bit outdated now . totally recommend them and have used them before and will use them again many thanks

The local centre always seems busy but the manager and staff find the time to be courteous, cheerful and "on the ball". Spending money on tyres, exhausts, MOTs etc is never fun but somehow I don't seem to mind when its via F1. It's quick, easy and usually at a very good price

Great first experience with F1 Bulwell. Failed its MOT due to brake discs/pads but the staff went out of their way to fit the replacement in on the same day and get the MOT re-tested even though they were already busy/full. Slight minor issue when the car was returned (something catching on the wheel) but was resolved quickly and politely. Great customer service from the team. Price was slightly higher than my local garage but on a bank holiday monday I was happy to pay more.

The garage called me the day before to confirm my booking and even managed to get me in 30 minutes earlier. :-) I turned up about 5 minutes before my booking and had my car back from an MOT less than 40 minutes later. They even topped up my screen was and charged £20 for the MOT - great price. A female mechanic completed the MOT and she was extremely helpful and professional. Explained the MOT notes in full detail. Top class A* company. I'll definitely be back!

The team at Formula One in Hertford were complete lifesavers. I'd been let down by another tyre replacement company at the last minute and was in desperate need for all four of my tyres to be replaced. After booking online with an AM time I called Aylesbury and someone confirmed that they would book me for 9:00am as I woiuld have to wait and had nowher else I could go. When I got there it was "Leave your car with us". I pointed-out I had made a specific arrangement for 9:00am. Obviously it was someone else who had answered the phone. However, the agreed to start work on my car first. They were all very friendly about it and I'm very happy with the work and price so please pass on my thanks. I booked online fo an mot for my car.When I arrived I was expected and the staff were very polite,friendly and helpful. I was phoned when the car was ready, and given a quote for work that was required for the car to pass its mot. I phoned for a retest a few days later, and again the staff on the phone was very helpful, and said they could do the retest for the next day. I dropped the car off the next day,the car was inspected that morning,I was phoned later to say that it had passed and that I could come and collect it. I collected the car and was very happy. Overall the the service was very good, and I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to book online and receive great service to at the centre. Well done lads and thank you, and I will definetly be recomending you.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and after failing the MOT, repaired the problem on the same day but I booked MOT online with a free offer for glass cleaning service that was not done and also I asked for an adjustment on the car door that was not performed.

Initially looked to place order on line however popped in to see the boys before doing so. They advised ref the state of my tyres on the vehicle which resulted in me having to buy 4 instead of 2. Gutted, however very happy with reasons given and guidance. Car serviced and good feedback from Dave in branch advising what was good and what I needed to "be aware" of. Pleasantly surprised by the overall process as have had shocking experiences with other mainline dealers like Kwik Fit, Halfords etc. Think they forget about price includes customer service, practically non existent on occasions. Great staff, pleasant experience and all round extremely happy. (Other than the financial implication, however that's motoring for you!)

I dropped the wheel off the day before and the very helpful young lady who served me confirmed I would be able to pick the wheel up either later that day or early the next morning which was the scheduled day for the replacement tyre to be fitted. To her credit she rang me to say the tyre was ready within 3 hours of dropping the tyre off. I was impressed with her efficiency.

The team at Cheltenham hit an unexpected problem when aligning the rear of my car. I was asked to come and view what had happened (a seized bolt had broken. The centre manager was very polite and helpful and explained what needed doing to resolve the issue. The part was ordered straight away but would take 48 hours to come in, as my exhaust was blowing slightly I asked for a quote. The quote was reasonable so I asked the manager to go ahead and replace as the car was up on the ramps. The manager promised to phone next day with an update which he did and again explained clearly what was happening. I was phoned again the following day to say that my car was ready for collection. I would like to say that the team at Cheltenham especially the manager although he was busy was always very polite and professional, I will certainly mention my positive experience to family and friends.

Fantasic customer service, I needed a new spare tyre but they didn't have the one I wanted in stock, a very friendly and helpful member of staff looked up the tyre for me and price, then adviced me if I ordered the tyre myself on line I would make a saving on the price. I left my tyre with them and all my details, went home and ordered the tyre, three days later I received a telephone call saying my tyre had been fitted and ready for collection. Excellent service - having ordered a tyre online and taking the wheel into the branch at 8:35 a staff member came out to take the wheel from my car and a mechanic immediately started work to change the tyre. Staff where genuinely helpful and explained the reasoning for the irregular wear on my BMW tyres. Fitted the tyre without the usual gunk left on the rim. Very impressed with the service throughout. Usually used Tyreshopper for all of our tyre needs, but not anymore, the staff at Formula 1 in Lye are very professional and will get all of my companies business in the future. Great service also from Darren at the call centre, sorting me out when the wrong size tyre ordered - my mistake!

This is the second time I have used the Aylesbury branch and both times I have left impressed with the standard of service provided. Very good staff at reception. Also the actual person who did the work was excellent at explaining that my brake pads were worn (I had asked that they were checked)and although still a little life left in them it may be advisable that they be changed now while the car was there, which I agreed too. The staff were extremely helpful when there was a problem with our horn. Even though we had to take it to the local Vauxhall garage to have this fixed, F1 were able to fit us in to retest our car after 5pm and get our MOT passed. The manager was very helpful and understanding when I needed to have a few corrections due to failing my MOT. He let me know what was needed and what was recommended before he asked me what I wanted to do. It was very reassuring that they wanted to sort out my bonnet first as they did not want to cost me any more money and waste their time if it could not be fixed. There was a long queue to check my car in, a member of staff picked up on this and stopped doing his task to assist and get the queue down and made friendly conversation whilst doing so. All staff that I encountered were very friendly and spent time thoroughly explaining the process of what needed to be fixed on the car. Even though it as a very busy Saturday, they kept a friendly and clam manner through out.

Car booked in on line for MOT and winter check. MOT was fine but unable to do winter check as did not have staff available. Did offer to do it if I could come back at another time but said most of the checks had been carried out under the MOT, asked them to top up the washer bottle so decided not to bring the car back. Thank you very much for the great service. This was the first time I have used Formula One and I was very impressed! I ordered 2 tyres on-line (after lots of research on type and price) and I arrived at 10am yesterday for the fitting. I was told the fitter would start in 15 mins (when he had finnished his current job) and I was asked to wait in the very warm and comfortable waiting room. 40 minutes later the receptionist told me my car was ready to go. There was a delay in obtaining the four tyres I requested via the online service. However, I was promptly informed of the hold up via 'phone and e-mail and was offered and accepted better tyres at the same competitive price.I was most impressed with the good will shown with this upgrade of tyre at no extra cost. When I arrived at the Rugby branch of F1 I found the member of staff at reception and the tyre fitter to be professional, friendly and knowledgeable and the service was prompt. The waiting room also deserves a mention in that it was warm with comfortable chairs and was kitted out with a television and reading material. There was also a viewing screen in the reception area where I could watch as the tyre fitter re-aligned the tracking of my vehicle. I will be using their facility again and would recommend the company to my friends.

I found the whole process excellent. The online booking system was very easy to use. The staff were very friendly and nice pleasant area to wait if you need to use it. The man who carried out the MOT came out to speak to me and pointed out a small issue that was nothing to do with the MOT but he had found out it while carrying out the job. My husband phoned the centre to find out what the issue was so he could repair it and the man who had pointed it out was more than happy to talk to him.

I ordered some Bridgestone All Weather Tyres online on Sunday with a Wednesday booking slot. Got a call Monday to say in-stock and could be fitted immediately. This was excellent news considering the current weather conditions. Also, these tyres are simply awesome! No need for winter or summer sets, as these do it all in one and the confidence gained driving on the ice/snow is ten-fold. Your staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly approach - complimentary coffee. Returned today to get a set of Dunlop SportMaxx RT's fitted for my Alfa V6, at an excellent price and again, great customer service. Would highly recommend F1 over other tyre centres in the area. Great service. I was kept updated of the progress and when I found a cheaper quote for one of the works, this was matched, which was great, as it meant it could be stay, have the works done be be re tested all in one day. As a female with little car knowledge I often dread taking my car to the garage, as I have often felt patronised and felt things hadn't been explained. This was definitely not the case at F1! Initially it appeared as though one of the two tyres ordered online had not arrived. It only took a short time for the situation to be resolved in a friendly but professional manner. I was impressed. Perhaps becuase of the prevailing weather conditions no time to completion was given - and to be honest I was not expecting one. Best price I could find and that was number oner for me, however the bonus was friendly staff, who wanted to deliver customer satisfaction. They would not hear of me lifting my wheel from the boot of the car, directed me towards the lounge and took care of everything, returning my keys to me with everything complete. I actually live out of the area in Broxbourne, I had my van mot'd at your Hertford branch as I was working over the road from you one day, a real friendly chap fitted in the van for me there and then.. I had booked a service for my van at my local garage pretty much on the door step, I felt his quote was pretty much ripping me off. I decided to book it in with the guys @ Formula 1 in Hertford again instead, 1 train ride and 1 bus journey to get back home once I dropped van off, but I had a far superior service and more work done at a cheaper price, plus a few minor extras thrown in, my local garage quoted me £400 for a service and break pads, you guys did a Master service, break pads PLUS DISCS, tyre change, bulbs, balancing and alignment all in £480. Bloody brilliant, all the guys there need a pat on the back, real nice to see honest working guys, I work for myself and honesty and service go along way, I will be a regular customer of yours. Most of Garages are closed on Sunday but F1 is open on Sunday also. This is my second visit and I am sure that it is quite cheaper than other garages and also it’s give you good service and 100% customer satisfaction service, that we want. Punctual time and always call for pre-approval before starting additional work if agreed – they never ever try to add any sneaky extra work, always explain any work that they recommend, and the work they carry out is always spot on - there has never been a reason to take the car back after a visit. I have always found this centre at wedgewood way very pleasant & helpful and when my tyres were a wee bit low on pressure it was no trouble for the engineer to pump them up for me following my free winter check up and annual MoT. They have also always been very helpful in the past with my wife's vehicle and those of my two daughters' whether it is just tyres, batteries or repairs and as I have said to the guys where we get good service we will continue to return. My car was in for it's MOT and I was aware that my nearside headlight wasn't working. One of the mechanics came out and asked if it was alright to replace the bulb at a cost of £10 - I said it was. On collecting my keys, I went to pay for the bulb, only to be told I wouldn't be charged for it!! I would definitely use F1 autocentre again and would highly recommend them to my friends. Thank you.

Always take my cars to this garage, even though I now mostly live in London (parents still live in Chelmsford!). All the guys in there are very very polite and helpful – always call for pre-approval before starting additional work if agreed – they never ever try to add any sneaky extra work, always explain any work that they recommend, and the work they carry out is always spot on - there has never been a reason to take the car back after a visit... Recently had a full service and winter check and so so pleased did – car’s holding the road really nicely and feels just that little bit safer on the wet and wintery roads. Had some problems with a cracked locking wheel nut key and so there was an all day delay, but the staff were great and got the locking nuts removed without the key FOC and sourced replacement nuts which were a dealer only part. TBH I was pretty fed up but and potentially there could have been a row but their attitude and diligence ensured that I will be back again in the future.

I regularly use Formula 1 because I think the online discounts mean great value. for example a recent internet check showed you were cheaper for tyres than etyres.co.uk. I am always pleased with the service. When additional work needs doing for example to pass an MOT this is always completely timely and the price is reasonable. Went to centre they checked tyres and advised me to book online. staff were great at fitting, I mentioned brake pads might be low and the fitter showed me they were and for the first time in 20 yrs or so of motoring felt like I wasn't being spun a line as he got me to look and the car and explained. Pads ordered and at centre within 30 mins. Same again on pre paid tracking, the guy showed me what was wrong before he corrected it. I've heard a lot of negative reviews about your brand, but I will tell a diff story. Staff were excellent as we're prices.

I took my car to ATS as they offered me a 'free health check' to see whether it would pass its mot...they told me they would need to carry out £500-600 worth of repairs for it to pass, and gave me a long list, including that 'the windscreen wipers were broken and this alone would fail' In fact I had checked them that morning they were perfectly fine..when I got my car back I found they had tampered with the wipers and pulled the rubber out...my friend recommended formula 1 as she trusted them with her car and found them really helpful. I have to say I am really happy with the service, the staff and the level of care my car recieved, in fact the staff went out of their way to help me, explain things clearly and even carried out a small repair free of charge to help my car through its MOT. What a contrast from ATS, whose culture appears to be to rip customers off and get as much cash out of them as possible. I will never visit an ATS shop again. I am so happy with Formula 1 that I have already recoomended their services to all my friends, and will continue to use Formula 1 with any repairs or check my car needs as I feel my faith has been restored. Thank you Formula 1, keep up the great work!

I have been visiting Formula one in Newcastle-under-lyme for a few years now and would never use another garage. Neil in particular is very approachable, friendly and always explains what work needs doing and gives a price before he goes ahead and completes the work. There have been times where I've contacted Formula one in an emergency - Nails in tyres/oil leaks and they have sorted out the problem straight away. Since I started using Formula one in Newcastle, my Mum and Dad and two of my friends have both opted to take their cars to F1 and have been really pleased with the service. As long as I live in this area, I'll be taking my cars to F1! :-)

Very pleased with the service, as a women i do not have a clue about cars,i first went when my exhaust was a little noisy, and expected to be told i needed a new exhaust, but was told it was fine and would last for a while. ( something to do with baffles) did not understand any of that.but got another 5 months from that. When one morning i knew i needed a new exhaust i phoned at 8 in the morning ( internet said opens at 8.30) but my call was answerd ) i took my car there and was ready by 10.15 and that included ordering all the parts. Well impressed. Your staff checked the aliment on my wheels seen that they were way off and informed me i should get my tracking done, whilst this was an added expense, it was good to be informed that if i did not get this corrected it would wear the tyres down quicker and is not very fuel efficent. Car was worked on straight away upon arrival. Noted that the workshop was very clean and tidy as was the reception area. Great to see a torque wrench actually being used. Ordered tyres, booked fitting slot, but on arrival could not find wheel nut key. Knowing i needed car for weekend, staff offered open appointment. Found key and staff got car sorted. I've been down to the Redditch branch for tyres twice now and I've been more than happy with the service I received. They are very friendly and efficient on the phone and equally so in person. My car was due an MOT and I booked it with F1. Unfortunately it failed on tires and I have decided to shop around before deciding where I would like to fix them. I received a few quotes and called F1 to find out if they would be able to match the price. They even went one step further and beat the price, which was a nice surprise. They also found the time to change my tires and book another MOT test in time that suited me, even though they were really busy. They were also very polite and helpful at all times. I think the customer service in Bletchley, Milton Keynes garage is brilliant. Thankyou, a much improved service from a couple of years ago. Would not have used F1 but needed to get work done urgently. Happy I did, as the work was done within the same day, no waiting required, lots of good explanation and communication, unlike my previous experience. The work also seems of high quality, which it was not 2 years ago when there was a problem with the brakes after the service, which could have been potentially dangeorus, I had to return the car to get that re-done, but no apology, it did'nt seem to be taken seriously. However, this time it was a completely different experience, and I'm pleased to say that I will use F1 again.

This was my first visit to formula one.The staff were extremly helpful i arrived 10 minutes early and as it was raining heavily they signalled me to drive my car straight in and they started the mot early and in fact my car was ready within the hour.They were honest,reliable and gave me some advice about a sealant if i was intending to keep the car for a few more years.I would definitly recommend them asin the past i have hadsome negative experiences with garages.Excellent service

I incurred a large nail in the centre of the tyre. The gentleman warned me that the plug might not fill the hole but he fitted one to try. He advised me to keep the tyre overnight to see it if deflated before fitting onto the car. (no charge at this point) The tyre deflated 3or 4 pounds so, since I was due to take a touring holiday in France, decided to replace the tyre. (it had covered 33000 miles so the decision was easier.) I called F1 on Sunday morning and discussed replacements. I received advice on prices and durability and the need to keep the same speed rating. I reserved a Bridgestone and it was fitted as soon as I arrived. They also swapped the spare tyre over. Total cost £74 Thank you very much for good service

Tyre fitting depots are not my favourite places to visit. Phones going all the time and always a dreary waiting room. A newspaper, coffee machine and free access to WIFI would help. No one wants to spend £130 having their car repaired, but I had to today and I have to say the polite friendly service I received eased the pain!! Craig, I think he was a stand in depot manager looked after me and was fantastic! I needed a new tyre and my tracking looked at! My inquisitive nature being such as it is, I wanted to know exactly what he was doing and why and he took the time to explain it to me, showing me the technology you employ. Very good service. My appointment had got lost off the system, but once the computer glitch was sorted, front tyres were fitted very quickly without any damage to the rims. A full 4 wheel alignment was also carried out with full explanation and visuals from computer screen. The car certainly feels better and more planted on the road now.
