- Run-flat tyres have reinforced sidewalls and are designed to keep the tyre fixed to the wheel, even when operating at low pressure. Most tyre manufacturers DO NOT recommend a Run-flat tyre be repaired following use at reduced pressure.
- Asymmetrical tyres have a different tread pattern on each side of the tyre. This allows different patterns with differing wet/dry performance characteristics to be combined in one tyre.
- BMW recommended tyres. These tyres have been specifically designed to compliment the performance characteristics of their vehicles.
Tyres far superior over the previous Continental run flats that were fitted to my F30 328i M Sport, particularly when it comes to quietness and wet weather performance. In the wet the car felt more secure and composed with more confidence to push the car harder in corners without the rear feeling it wants to step out. Dry weather performance was excellent.
