The car came with Continental Contact Sports on which were very harsh, noisy and inconsistent in their grip. They were also very prone to tramlining on motorways and dual carriageways. The Goodyears, whilst not perfect, are much quieter, consistent in their grip and create much more confidence in the cars handling. There is now no hint of tramlining. Wear seems average and the car probably doesn't do quite so well on fuel conception but this is a price well worth paying for the improved handling and reduced road noise.
