Asymmetrical tyres have a different tread pattern on each side of the tyre. This allows different patterns with differing wet/dry performance characteristics to be combined in one tyre.

Used Sheffield North twice, both times been able to get the right tires in at short notice, even though they are older vehicles with Rim sizes classed as small now. Budget tires were actually better quality than some of the more expensive mid range products seen elsewhere.
