Formula One Autocentres Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

  • Corporate Structure, business and areas of operation
    Formula One Autocentres Limited (“the Company”) is a family owned and operated business which operates a chain of vehicle servicing centres in England. The Company is not part of a group company structure.

    The Company’s business is to service retail customer’s vehicles and provide replacement parts for those vehicles.
  • Our Supply chain
    We source all of the products that we use from suppliers based in the UK. Vehicles are fitted with aftermarket products appropriate for their vehicles, whether these are the manufacturer’s own products or other reputable replacement products.

    We source our products from a range of UK based motor factors or directly from original equipment manufacturers. Nearly always our supply chain purchases are undertaken on standard terms and conditions of sale which a re not negotiable. On the rare occasions we do negotiate the terms of supply we seek to include terms relating to the prohibition of human trafficking and modern slavery.

    The automotive supply chain sector is a global business with suppliers manufacturing across the globe and in turn their supply chain being equally global.
  • Our policies on Anti-Slavery and human Trafficking
    We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery in our business and we comply with UK employment law and labour standards legislation.

    Our Human Trafficking Policy prohibits the use of forced labour within our business and provides the foundation for our commitment to act ethically and with business integrity. This is supported by our Anti-Corruption and Bribery Policy. Our Whistleblowing Policy allows employees to report any areas of concern.
  • Human Trafficking Due Diligence Processes
    Where it is possible to negotiate supply terms we seek to introduce a contractual term prohibiting forced labour by our suppliers and we also seek to include provisions which would provide us with the ability to audit their operations and those of their supply chain where this is viable given the global nature of the supply chain.
  • Training
    Employees have access to all of the Company’s policies. In addition our HR team and Stock Control Manager have received training on our Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy.
