Car Servicing FAQs
-
What does servicing a car include?
What is included in your car service depends on which car service you choose. We have two options available: Full and Interim. Our Interim service includes vehicle checks on both the floor and the ramp, as well as common service tasks such as replacing the engine oil. Finally, an Interim service includes a road test.
A Full service includes everything that an Interim service does, but with more comprehensive road tests, vehicle checks on the ramp and scheduled service tasks.
For more information on the difference between our two types of services, check out our ‘what’s included’ servicing checklist.
-
How often should I get my car serviced?
We recommend that a Full Service is completed every 12,000 miles or every 12 months and an Interim Service is completed every 6,000 miles or every 6 months.
-
How long does a full service take?
A Full service at Formula One Autocentres takes around 3-4 hours.
-

Depending on the mileage your car has done, or how old it is, can determine which service is required for your vehicle.
