what is an mot

If you’re a new driver or haven’t taken your car for an MOT before, it’s understandable to be nervous or apprehensive about your MOT. In this guide, we’ll explain some of the common terminology and acronyms you might come across when you take your car in for its MOT.

Remember, it’s a legal requirement for your car to have a valid MOT certificate. If your car is over three years old, you’ll need to book your MOT annually as driving without an MOT is illegal and can result in a fine of up to £1,000. Book your MOT today!
