- Run-flat tyres have reinforced sidewalls and are designed to keep the tyre fixed to the wheel, even when operating at low pressure. Most tyre manufacturers DO NOT recommend a Run-flat tyre be repaired following use at reduced pressure.
- Extra Load tyres are an evolution of the reinforced tyre for heavier, higher performance vehicles, allowing a lower profile tyre with extra load carrying capability. These tyres give more rigidity and enhanced road holding.
- Mercedes recommended tyres. These tyres have been specifically designed to compliment the performance characteristics of their vehicles.
Very disappointed with wear rate for such a high priced 'named brand' tyre.

I replaced the Rear Continental Sports which the car came from the manufacturer with these and they transformed the cars handling in terms of wet grip and stability. I would not hesitate in recommending these tyres to anyone as I have been extremely impressed with their performance. Please bear in mind that the wear rate is relative to your driving style and the stunning performance these tyres provide. so if you are after a tyre that provides high mileage as opposed to performance you may find a more cost effective option. I have since replaced the Continentals on the front with these and will be sticking with them from this point forward as I feel anything else compromises the cars ability
